house cleaning matters

hi folks,

TABLE OF CONTENTS:

please clean dishes promptly for the health of everyone involved

we have some homeless green and white ikea mugs!

we do like to share our kitchenware, but please be kind and rewash

don't keep food our for mice

remove your old perishables from fridge

if the trash is full, bring it out to a bin

if the bin is full, please bring it to the curb

DISHES

we keep finding dishes (ours and others) left in the dirty dirty sink.  this is a sink that sees a lot of chemicals, and splashes of chemicals, and we believe that it's not a good idea to leave food-related items in the basin.  under normal circumstances, the dishes we keep around the shop rarely see a dishwasher, and it's kind of a pain to have to lug them back and forth to sanitize them when they do end up in grody places.

also, the kind soul who left the green and white mugs for common use during e.a.s.t: we are bringing the dirty mugs home to run through the dishwasher, and after this weekend they will all be clean and stowed in our studio until claimed.

if any of you would like to borrow dishes, that's totally fine--feel free to ask.  we have mugs and glasses in our studio that are available for sharing.  please note, however, that we would like to have those washed and returned promptly upon completion of use; this will make it easier to share with other knowing that we're not sharing gross germs from the sink.

FOOD

one of our employees removed a mouse from the building last night.  please keep food items out of the building, in the fridge, or sealed in a glass jar to keep the mice from feasting and thriving in our midst.  they're cute, but their droppings are not!

also, please check the fridge for old perishable food items you may have forgotten.

TRASH

please do your part to make sure the building isn't trashy!  if the trash in the kitchen or bathroom is full, bring it out to the brown bin or the dumpster outside the building.

trash day is friday.  please feel free to wheel the full brown trash barrel to the curb on thursdays.

recycling is a service paid for by the pump project.  call the number on teh side of the barrel to leave a message requestin a pick up at 1109 b shady lane.
