Just another follow up. We're having the manufacturers of the products ship them directly to you. If you haven't provided an shipping address Sally will be following with you so we can get these shipments out. 

I spoke to Ed, he's our CadSoft contact for the EAGLE licenses, and he's on the case. If you anyone attended the Maker Faire in San Mateo Ed was the happy guy at the element14 booth who wanted to find out which design tool you used. Nice guy. I'll make sure he gets those licences out.

Will do. I get the impression that the shipping is still being processed. Instead of shipping from the clients offices, or ours, (which we suggested as an option), the client wanted to ship everything directly from the individual manufacturers. I'm trying to get the contact details of each of the people at these manufactures who will be doing the shipping. That way I can put a human face on the process for them and hopefully keep the ball rolling.

Getting the tools would be super useful for us too, as we're getting into some intense building.  We had postponed buying these particular tools (soldering stations and all) since we were planning on getting them after the GGHC. 

No pressure! ^_^ 

I'm guessing that with the long weekend of independence day in the US, we'll probably have to wait at least another week,,,

You're right. You're over due for an update. I've been emailing a few groups individually to let them know that I paused in the updates since I've had so little success in nudging the process along. I've got some members of my team travelling to Chicago, the US company headquarters very soon. If I can't get any movement from looking people straight in the eye I'm going to try redirect the process. If the hold up is having the element14 buyers coordinate with the manufacturers I'll insert myself as the main contact point directly. If its easier to get all the equipment sent to my offices and then I can ship it out to you all personally then that's what I'll do. I've a roll of tape and plenty of packing peanuts with nothing to do. I promise to keep you all in the loop. Just between you and me - managing the competition was the easy part. This is where I'm getting the full body work out ;-)
