Data request on Shift allowance

Hi Guys, Hope you all are in pink of health!

I wanted a bit of help from the group. I am currently looking for some data points around Shift allowance that is offered to employees working in Night/ Afternoon shifts..

If possible, can you tell me what does your company follows (or even your previous employers) when it comes to compensating to such employees. Eg : What is the allowance offered; shift timings for which this allowance is offered etc..

If a significant response is received, i can compile the info and share it with group.

Hello,

Yes most of the companies including my current organization provides shift allowances. Afternoon shifts starts after 12:00 and night shifts after 8:00. The allowance paid is close to 200 - 500 for afternoon  and 400 - 700 for late night shifts depending on levels. A sheet is sent to managers who then fill the days and other details which is then consolidated and sent to HR for processing of payroll.
