Thanks to everyone who was part of the conference this year. I hope the team lived up to to the expectations. Some changes were made in the format of the conference. We decided to remove Git and Linux sessions as Programming Club already covers those in its own sessions. Also speakers were asked to strictly adhere to the schedule which they did and we wrapped the conference as per the schedule. I hope members of PULUG that attended SFD liked it. Also no speaker was a UIET student this year and I'd suggest future SFDs to follow the same format. Alumni and other people from the community can have a better impact on the students and again college students are always accessible via Programming Club. We had speakers from Facebook, Github and Hike this year and I'd like to similar kind of speakers in future. Some improvements can be made in the scheduling by taking care of technical glitches.

Thanks to Divyam for spearheading the whole endeavor. Its difficult to be so heavily involved in the conference during 4th year but he still took time out of his schedule and made the conference a success. Thanks to Divyanshi, Samiksha, Deepanjali, Namish, Tanmay, Sagar, Akshay, Devesh, Pranav, Ankur, Dhawal, Utkarsh, Aman, Yeshi and Mahir. They worked day in day out to make the conference possible. Working till 2 AM in the morning to make speaker posters and sending registration emails to students. Thanks to Mandeep Ma'am and UIET for helping us financially. Also, thanks to Ashish, Himanshu, Mohit and Shubham for being present in the conference and clearing doubts that students had. It's always to great to have PULUG alumni at the conference.

Lastly. I'd like to thanks PULUG for making SFD possible. For me personally SFD has been an important part of my college life. I still remember my first one when Pinak, Nitesh, Ashish and Mohit took sessions. PULUG and SFD helped me make friends with people outside my branch and year which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. There is still a little sadness as this will be my last one as a student (hopefully xD). I hope my juniors will continue the legacy of what Nitin and KP sir started.

Thank You Again to everyone for making SFD'18 a success.

P.S.: I'll upload the photographs in a day or two.

Technical glitches will always be there. Overall this was a very well organized conference.

Kudos to the SFD team for another successful SFD.

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to this year's SFD.
But, I am really glad to hear that we did well. Awesome !

Any photographs or videos of the event ?
