working example of accessing waveform data in PulseWaves file using pylidar

Hello,

It is my understanding that the PyLidar package (pylidar.org) is able to read PulseWaves format data. There are some examples on their page for processing a file for ground returns, however, I can't seem to figure out how to access each individual waveform. Does anyone have a working example using PyLidar to do this with PulseWaves data?? It is not obvious to me.
