Hello everyone, I think this project looks great, and I'll be learning
Java this next school year, so I thought I would take a look into
this, I would love to use it, but for some odd reason it says I don't
have Java installed when I try any of the demos on the pulpcore pages.
To be exact it says "To play, install Java now." and I know I have
Java installed, I have the JRE and the JDK, and I even reinstalled
Java for Chrome multiple times, but for some reason it still doesn't
work.

The demos are still using an older version of pulpcore.js, which doesn't work on recent versions of Chrome.
The games at pulpgames.net work correctly.

Thanks David, I fired up Firefox (oh jeez, pun not intended) and
everything seemed to work just fine. I think it's ok if it doesn't
work on Chrome, as I would much prefer a desktop application which I
just happened to see a post about on here just before I posted my
problem. Thanks again for informing me of this inconvenience.
Hopefully either Google will add support for older versions of
Javascript again, or maybe you guys might even update the version of
JS Pulpcore runs on :)

Hi Alex, I just ported the examples to the desktop platform. The sources
are hosted here:
https://bitbucket.org/carlo_salinari/pulpcore-runtime-desktop-awt

but you'll need a bit of java knowledge to see them run, since the demo
launcher is still very primitive.

Cheers,
Carlo
