Hi all,

I had 6 students in class today, where we continued working on adverbs of frequency, focusing mostly on "always", "sometimes" and "never".

I started the class off with a warm-up exercise on our theme where they were required to work with a partner on four questions:

1. What is your name?
2. Where do you live?
3. How long have you lived in New York?
4. What is your favorite place in New York?

This exercise generated questions on prepositions, and the past tense, which we will work on as a class in the coming weeks.

For the second half of class, I asked students to use adverbs of frequency to formulate their own sentences, which they then shared with the rest of the class.

I think we will work on these adverbs for one more week and then move on to talking about verbs!

Are we still up for a quick meeting this Sunday afternoon at 4 pm?

See you all soon!

Hi guys,

For level 1 today, I had 6 students and we reviewed first letter consonants sounds from a to r.
Along with vocabulary, I introduced little bit about solar system as I explained 'the earth' and four seasons and twelve months for 'fall'.
I'm attaching a lesson plan which I find it helpful even though the lesson does not always follow the plan. :)

As for the meeting this Sunday, I'm not sure if 4pm works for me, it depends on where we are going to meet.

Let me know!

June
