Hi everyone, I just spoke to Athie in order to confirm whether the PSA will allow us to hold class today. The answer is yes. The class is on for tonight, so hopefully, I'll see you there, Ruth! We should however meet, and begin exploring other spaces in order to hold the English classes. Restoration Plaza in Bed-Stuy on Fulton St. is one place; the Fort Greene Senior Center on Fulton/Classon is another option; any other ideas? let's brainstorm and then perhaps we can begin contacting these organizations systematically. What do people think? All the best, Abena --- On Tue, 6/28/11, Abena Asare <aben...@yahoo.com> wrote: |
So the troubles continued last night when I arrived at 9 to access the PSA. The key was missing. One of the family upstairs came down to open and was able to open the gate but not unlock the door, she called her father and was told that the key should be in the PSA door, if not, it is missing. So the four students who were gathered and I were not able to hold the classes. Fairly frustrating. I told the students about our search to find another space; and asked them to think about it and if they have any suggestions to let us know. Whoever is teaching tonight, please let us know what happens! many thanks -a --- On Tue, 7/5/11, Ruth Nervig <ner...@gmail.com> wrote: |
