An updated HTML 5 resource from the University of Washington for those teaching Web Publishing.  This might link well with the Microsoft IT Academy Web Development Fundamentals certification.

Subject: Fall 2012 Web Design Curriculum Upgrade

Dear Instructor,

I'm one of the authors of the Web Design & Development I course curriculum developed by AccessIT at the University of Washington. I'm sending you this email because someone (hopefully you) registered your email address to access the Instructor's version of the curriculum.

Last year we conducted a survey of registered instructors and received 179 responses with great feedback and suggestions for improvements to the curriculum. Since then, we've been working to implement many of those changes, and in Fall 2012 we'll be launching an updated version. The updated version will teach HTML5, will have more activities for learning CSS and JavaScript, and will explore the evolving landscape of web design and development, including content management systems and other website publishing tools.

We are seeking teachers to participate in a pilot test of the new curriculum. As always the curriculum will be free. We simply request your feedback and recommendations throughout the Fall academic term. If you are interested in participating in the pilot test, please complete the curriculum pilot registration form at the following URL, and we'll get back to you over the summer with additional details:

Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
