Microsoft IT Academy Resources (FREE)

Microsoft keeps updating the amount of free resources available through the Microsoft IT Academy.  I found out today that that there is a list of books from Wiley Publishing available as PDF's for free download and use by teaches and their students of Microsoft IT Academy schools.  Mind you, these are PDF versions only.  You would have to purchase printed copies from Wiley if you needed them.  I'm using Edmodo as a way to provide secure, online access to these materials to my students.  

Wiley Publishing hosts the instructor resources for the Microsoft Technical Associates certification exams' supporting materials that are provided in PDF version through the Microsoft IT Academy:  http://bcs.wiley.com/he-bcs/Books?action=index&bcsId=7821&itemId=1118621484.  You must request access to the materials through Wiley Publishing (click on register link for access).  You just need your school's Microsoft IT Academy number when you register (get that from your district's CTE Director).  Resources can include Instructor Guides, PowerPoint Slides, Test Bank, Data files and Solution files that go with each text.

I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the offerings and resources available.  Career and Technical Education at OSPI does encourage students obtaining industry certification, and this is a free way for students to do so.  I've had 5 students obtain one or more Microsoft Technical Associate certifications last semester.  I'm considering a combination of the development titles as a pre-AP Computer Science option for students in my district.

Nice topic but i m unable to sign in, because my school don't have that type of agreement, so, can you share with me the MOAC please. I would love to obtain the microsoft certification but i don't have enough money to get the resources and learn.

I cannot post resources, per the license agreement with Microsoft Imagine Academy and Wiley Publishing.  Every public high school and middle school has access to the resources provided by the Microsoft Imagine Academy (formerly Microsoft IT Academy).  You can obtain information on accessing resources at http://www.k12.wa.us/CareerTechEd/IT-Academy.aspx.
