See below about our cut flower workshop at Ruth Bennett Community Farm tomorrow, Thursday 7/22, from 3-5pm.

ORGANIC CUT FLOWER WORKSHOP
Thursday, July 22nd: 3pm - 5pm

Learn about how to set up a cut-flower garden for intensive production on a small scale. The Bennett Farm produces flowers for entrepreneurial training as well as sale through a few different wholesale and direct-market channels.

Topics will include variety selection and timing; field support techniques such as staking and netting; harvest tips; post-harvest handling and crop rotation to ensure you have a plentiful abundance of blooms (and greenery!) all season long.

At the end of the workshop, you are invited to make a bouquet or 2 to take home with you.
