Mabel,I doubt you are in the exact same location as the Stanford campus and I doubt you are using the same model of antennae that Puffer uses. Just because you don't have reception problems establishes little of worth. No one is claiming every KGO viewer in the Bay Area has difficulty. Additionally, since the inception of the Puffer project, there has been intermittent reception problems with two channels (one of which has been KGO). Did you get a chance to watch the referenced YouTube video explaining the problem? Television engineers frequently make adjustments to the signals which may improve reception to certain pockets of the Bay Area while hindering others. It is a balancing act made more difficult by the ABC owned & operated station doing this on the cheap.
