Musicians Hangout this Friday!

Tomorrow is the first Friday of the month, and I'll be at Analogue at 5 - i Hope to see you there!  They will have the tables cleared from our usual place but the patio & bar should still be available, and weather looks to be great.

Now that we have this mailing list set up, it's easier to discuss things outside the hangout.  First order of business: considering the possibility of a different day and/or time for the Hangout itself.  We chose the days & times we did for various reasons that seemed to make sense at the time, but for other reasons, we may want to make some changes.  Biggest immediate concern - now that we're starting to build momentum, it gets awkward when they want to start setting up sound in the room where we are.  Won't be an issue tomorrow since we won't be in that room, but it definitely has been a few times.  Also Friday evenings - and first Fridays in particular - some of us have conflicts  (such as gigs).  Originally I had been thinking of Friday afternoons since schools are generally off, but that isn't so good for people working regular hours.  So, I'm considering something like a Wednesday or Thursday evening slot.

We will talk about this with Jesse from Analogue on Friday, but if you have feedback you'd like to pass along, just reply!  I think by default replies go to everyone so we can have an actual group discussion, but it should be possible to email me privately as well.
