Hi,

To make a massive media story about a global stand against the politics of division, we need to make this letter huge. Here are three ways you can help!

1. Share the letter on Facebook!

2. Start a campaign of your own!

We need influential citizens from across the world to join us and stand up against Trump and the politics of division he represents. Start a petition calling on local political leaders or celebrities to add their name to the letter -- then share that letter in your local networks. The more high-profile names on the letter, the more media attention it'll get -- and the more impact we'll have in changing the conversation around the politics of division.

3. Forward the original email to all your family and friends!

Here's something you can forward, with a short note on top:

Hi!

I’ve just joined this important global letter regarding Donald Trump's brand of hate. When enough people sign, it’ll run as a full page ad in major newspapers around the world:

Join me here and spread the word: https://secure.avaaz.org/en/deartrump_in/?taXJvdb

Here's the original email --

Dear friends,

He’s called Mexicans rapists and women “bimbos” and “fat pigs.” He’s promised to shut down mosques, keep a database of Muslims, and round up the children of illegal immigrants. Now a new report says Donald Trump’s hateful speech could make him a threat to our global security. Enough is enough -- join the sign-on letter below that's sweeping the planet and speak out against Trump’s hate-mongering. Once we hit 2 million signers it will be printed in media outlets around the world:

ADD MY NAME

Dear Mr. Trump,

This is not what greatness looks like.

The world rejects your fear, hate-mongering, and bigotry. We reject your support for torture, your calls for murdering civilians, and your general encouragement of violence. We reject your denigration of women, Muslims, Mexicans, and millions of others who don’t look like you, talk like you, or pray to the same god as you.

Facing your fear we choose compassion. Hearing your despair we choose hope. Seeing your ignorance we choose understanding.

As citizens of the world, we stand united against your brand of division.

Sincerely,
ADD MY NAME

Trump isn’t the only politician on the global stage exploiting political alienation and fear to sow hate -- but he’s the only one who is doing it with $2 billion worth of media attention.

We can use Trump’s media magnetism to our advantage and trigger a massive story about the world rejecting this hate-mongering -- but for it to really work, it needs to be a multi-million strong global call. Sign below and share with friends -- if enough of us join, we’ll urge politicians and celebrities to add their voices to ours.

Let’s create a united global chorus against Trump’s calls for division.

P.S. This email is a bit different than usual, and that’s because we’ve never had a moment quite like this before. Massive numbers really do matter on this one - if we each share this with 10 friends we can make clear that the world rejects the kind of divisive, fearful, hateful politics that Trump represents.
