I'm using After Effects beta to the highest update on my m2 MacBook Air. It won't let me activate Cinema 4D rendering on my composition (a very simple composition) it immediately crashes. Please help thank you
Do you get a crash dialog appearing that allows you to submit the crash information? If you do, can you make sure to fill it in and send the report with your email address that you use in the forums. Right now I can't find any crash sent in to our system to help further.
I only recently got a Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D so I don't really know what expected is. But it does seem to think that I need to pay for a trial is that normal? Render client seems to be working right just not the flagship cinema 4d
So lets apply this to various movies. A movie with an intense bank robbery scene will elicit almost 70% correlation in brain activity among the audience (Miller, 2017). Everyone is extremely focused on the robbery scene, their minds and eyes are not wandering. However, a clip of reality, such as a crowd of people at a concert in New York City only elicits 5% synchronization in brain activity (Miller, 2017). There are no special cuts or angle to make a central point of focus for the audience. I could be watching the people in the front row of the concert, and you could be looking at the people waving in the back.
So what does neurocinema moving forward? There are many different views on this new technology, both negative and positive. Some producers are excited about this technology, predicting that it will be able to increase viewer satisfaction and promote better movie marketing (Randall, 2012). They think this new technology could figure out what interests their audience most and help create better viewing experiences. Additionally, this technology might offer insight as to how to create a better advertisement that will draw more viewers to the movie theater for a particular movie (Randall, 2012).
Andrea, I loved reading this blog! I think this topic is super interesting, one that I literally had never considered before. The idea that movies and directors have the ability to synchronize our eye movements and brain wave patterns is truly such a weird but interesting concept. I wonder what percentage of producers/directors know about their ability to overpower our thoughts, and I am definitely convinced that those who do and utilize cinematic tools in the right way are more successful in getting revenue and the attention of their audiences.

The AfroCine Project is a multi-country, multi-faceted WikiProject which aims to encourage the contribution of content that relates to the historical and contemporary cinema, theatre, and arts sectors of several African countries, the Caribbean and the diaspora to Wikimedia projects.
"To bridge the huge content gap and improve on the systemic bias, in respect of the African continent, by getting real African stories and viewpoints into the mainstream. This will be achieved by making: articles, citations, images, videos, and data, about the historical and contemporary African cinema, theatre and arts, to be readily available and easily accessible, both online and offline, and in different languages."
The Entertainment Industry in Africa is huge; the Nigerian cinema is currently ranked as the third largest film industry in the world, in terms of revenue and production output. Other major film industries in Africa include the cinemas of: Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Egypt. All of these very active film industries are poorly represented on Wikipedia, as the available information about them is very scanty and difficult to access. The AfroCine Project aims to fix this problem.
Focus include variety of interests, such as: Contemporary cinema articles, Cinema history articles, biographies of relevant personalities (especially women), film articles, film archives, archives of relevant publications about African films and filmmaking, images of relevant subjects and personalities, etc. This is achieved through varying methods, such as GLAMs; editing workshops, writing and upload contests, partnerships with relevant organizations and Government ministries, activating Wikipedians-In-Residence (WIR) in libraries of film schools and institutions, and so on, using the help of existing communities/affiliates in Africa and beyond. This project is designed to use cinema to help bridge the content gap on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia and Open projects, as well as to improve on the awareness of these projects and the overall movement in African countries.
The AfroCine Project was kickstarted in March 2018, by Sam Oyeyele, and the project has gone on to make major impacts within the Wikimedia movement and the open movement in general over the years. The most popular AfroCine activity is the annual Months of African Cinema Global Contest.
