It's mindblowing we're looking at this graphics in 2022/2023. It doesn't even look as good as mobile games. It's ridiculous. We need a new match engine in fm 24. I want to see tricks, dhnamic play, feints, no look passes etc. Just imagine the imersion if football manager looked more real.
When I started up the game for the first time, video output was fullscreen 1080p or close to it. I have a 3440x1440 monitor. I just hate when games default to a none native resolution on first startup. It's probably not too hard for devs to let the game start up in native, or are we asking too much ?
I did not have any issues selecting 3440x1440 after the game finally let me choose to change settings. Again, let the user choose grahpics options before the game takes you through 10-30 min intro. Being forced to play in a none native resolution is annoying and is a bit hard on the eyes. I hit ALT+Return to put it in window mode, and my eyes felt much better. After the intro I put it in fullscreen again and chose 3440x1440.
What resolution are you TRYING to set it to? 3440x1440 (this IS changable when allowed to by the game, screen mode just have to be set to FULLSCREEN to be able to change resolution. As I mentioned in my comment on the forum tread, it would be nice to have the game start up in native resolution, or at leas the same resolution as windows. Many games do have this happen, which is a bliss.)
Please add support for 5120x1440. Currently it stretches to full screen but it will not allow resolution 5120x1440 as an option so the game quality is unplayable - you cannot accurately measure swing speed, putt lines, etc. because everything is skewed. All other EA games work fine, but this does not, must be a bug.
I'm using an Odyssey G9 49" monitor that is 5120x1440p with a 32:9 aspect ratio. I don't have the option to select any ultrawide resolution at all, not even 34401440. My highest resolution option is fullscreen at 2160x1440p. My second option is windowed mode with a tiny window in the middle of my screen. Fullscreen produces an extremely stretched image and is unusable. Windowed mode can almost scale to the window, but the resolution seems compromised and isn't crisp at all. This is an unacceptable solution, regardless. Even with only a small population of people using 5120x1440p, it seems that ultrawide was taken into consideration because people who have 3440x1440p monitors seem to have no issues being fullscreen at all. So why is 5120x1440p such a drastic issue, then? There's no stuttering in the game; that's not even remotely the problem. The game feels like a game I would play in my Chrome browser because the only way to play it is a floating window in the middle of my screen.

Change the format and resolution of your screenshots or video clips. You can include your mic's audio as well as your voice chat audio. If you have a compatible display, you can also enable 4K recording.
