Hi,
I queried Flipboard but has no answer since two days hence thought to reach out to you for help. Here is my problem.
I uploaded a rss xml file on my server with  <atom:link rel="hub" href="http://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com"/> tag and added to Flipboard using Flip it button. The new article reflected in my Flipboard account. So far so good. Now I uploaded the same rss to my server with minor changes in text and header. I used Fiddler to post and received a successful 204 response. (https://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com/publish was also tried). The problem is I do not see the changes getting reflected in Flipboard. Can you please help me to sort this issue? I also tried by adding the article to Flipboard by giving full path in search page in Flipboard app but getting same problem for updates.

Thanks,
 Raj

Raj,

I'm sure the folks at Flipboard will be of better help and will answer quickly.
However, I did a quick check on my end and it looks like the url
http://67.214.133.121/test/Rss2.xml
is not a feed: "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had
its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

Thanks,

Hi Raj-

I manage the subscriptions for Flipboard -- I see you have been busy testing feeds with us -- thanks! As Julien has pointed out that particular feed has been removed. I see 53 feeds in our system from your origin IP address -- is there a better one to look at?

It can take up to ten minutes or so for a pushed feed to be reflected in Flipboard. If you add an item to a feed, and are sure you sent a push notification, give it a bit of time. In addition, because of how our cache works, changes to items can take longer to see in the app as compared with new items. If you are experimenting, try adding new items to the feed, sending pushes, and the viewing it in Flipboard a few minutes later.

Julien/David,
My apology for the inconvenience. The link was removed later by system admin accidentally. Here are few more links I was playing with on Friday.

It will be great if you help me to get the answers on given below queries.
1) Did Flipboard subscribed with Google PubHub for these liinks to get future updates?
2) If yes, I also pushed few updates on Friday. Did it reached to Flipboard? If yes, I should expect the changes to be reflected immediately after the push. Let me know what needs to be done to achieve live updates. My experience is the push takes many hours to reflect the changes.

At least, I am happy that someone is there to reply my queries. :)

Thanks,
Raj

Out of these three, only sri4.xml was ever pushed to the Hub (https://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com/topic-details?hub.url=http%3A%2F%2F67.214.133.121%2Ftest%2Fsri4.xml). Are you sure you published the other two?

Roman,
I can see the logs in my Fiddler tool indicating push for Raj3.xml @ 16.31 and 16.45 pm Friday, and for Sri4.xml @ 14.31 and 16.04 pm same day. I do not see logs for Sri1 but might have use google Publish page or not sure about a publish. Hope this info helps.

Thanks,
Raj

Roman,
Any updates on the provided facts about the push? Please let me know if the push detected in your system for Raj3.xml @ 16.31 and 16.45 pm Friday, and for Sri4.xml @ 14.31 and 16.04 pm same day. Thanks in advance.

So here is my conclusion. Please help me to correct it.
Hub is receiving the pings in correct manner but due to unknown reasons Flipboard is unable to display my updates. Let me know if any corrections can be done from my end to resolve this issue. Just to refresh my problem again, I am not able to see the updates made in RSS. However, updates are reflected if I create a new magazine.

FWIW, Subscriber Diagnostics form on https://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com/subscribe can be used to verify that Flipboard is receiving updates from the hub. Only the person knowing the subscriber credentials can do that (David?).

Roman.
