New issue 49 by sorenr...@gmail.com: Syntax error in sdmx-subject.ttl
http://code.google.com/p/publishing-statistical-data/issues/detail?id=49

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download
http://publishing-statistical-data.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/specs/src/main/vocab/sdmx-subject.ttl
2. Check the syntax with e.g. rapper from the Raptor RDF Syntax Library
3. Syntax error on line 33.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When harvesting the above URL with Virtuoso I get the following:

Caused by: virtuoso.jdbc4.VirtuosoException: SP029: TURTLE RDF loader, line
33: Invalid characters in local part of QName; this error can be suppressed
by parser flags at sdmx-subject:1

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Rapper aborts after having read line 33, so there can be more errors in the
file than shown.

Very clear report but this is not a defect in the data but in the versions
of virtuoso and rapper that you are using.

The early drafts of Turtle at the time of W3C team submission did not allow
local name parts to have leading numbers. However, working group changed
this a long time ago and the data is valid under the Turtle specification
http://www.w3.org/TR/turtle/ (the CR version of which has been out for
nearly a year).

As a workaround, use a tool that can read the latest version Turtle to
convert this to N-Triples or RDF/XML, and work with that file.

Recent versions of Jena and Rapper support the latest Turtle.

Here's an N-Triples conversion via triplr.org:
