NDVI vs eNDVI

Hello guys.
I was searching around about NDVI.
And  I found  Enhanced Normalized Difference Vegetation Index on a ausie website
See attachment.

Can anyone here that understand NDVI tell me is this eNDVI make sens.

If so i want to implement this formula in Ned fiji and see the result.
Wondering how the result will be.
