Hi Folks,

(Some of you have seen this on other lists.. please pardon the redundancy.)

I've been working on some open source software to support virtual teams
and projects - putting some of the experiences and techniques I've
acquired over the years into code. The short form is how do we share
documents (action item lists, plans, reports, ....) without relying on
central services like dropbox or google docs - particularly in areas
where connectivity is sketchy at best.

The idea is shared documents that stay synchronized across the net. Each
person has their own copy of a document - which "talk to each other"
using a peer-to-peer protocol.Edit your copy, everyone else sees the
change on their copy.Unlike email attachments, there's no need to search
for the most recent copy of document.Unlike a Google Doc, everyone has
their own copy - allowing for private notes and working offline. All of
this using standard web browsers, email, and RSS - no new software to
install, no accounts to configure on services running in the cloud.

I'd welcome your interest, comments, support, likes, tweets, diggs, +1s,
re-distribution, blog posts, and any other visibility! And... if you
happen to have a large, distributed project coming up - a conference,
event, crowd sourcing effort, flash performance, disaster response
exercise that just begs for a collaboration support tool - let's talk!

Thank you!
