email subscriptions - who sees addresses?

Hi,
I am new to feedburner and quite new to blogging. I help to run a
website for a small charity and we'd like to use a blog for 'latest
news' as it isn't proving easy to do regular proper newsletters. At
the moment we have a newsletter sign up on the website but it's all
done manually (we have to look out for the sign up/unsubscribe emails
and add/remove people from the newsletter contacts list).
It looks as if the email subscription feature would be great for our
blog but would we get access to the email addresses to send our
ordinary newsletters? Also do we need to tell people that the email
list is run by feedburner, not us?
