- Introductions & Announcements: 8:30 am
- Report from CEDA Business Development: City staff will give an update
- Open Forum to discuss issues about crime and safety in Oakland's commercial districts. What's being done? What needs to be done? How you can do your part? Come with your ideas about crime prevention.
Guest Speakers Include:
- The Oakland Police Department's three Area Captains: A. Toribio, Area 1 Captain; R. Orozco, Area 2 Cap
tain; A. Rachal, Area 3 Captain.
- Dori Reed, Mayor's new Public Safety Coordinator (Invited)
- David Kozicki, Deputy Chief of Police
Role of the PSO's (Problem Solving Officer) Measure Y
- Eddie Simlin, Merchant Watch Coordinator
- Angela Haller, Block Captain of Woodminster commercial district and President of Crime and Safety Council beat 22X.
