Is it possible to do a territory realignment using an AP? We are just
starting to look into remote users that will be SYNCing into the server
daily. However, we shift clients to a new sales person within 45 days if no
sale has been made yet. Now we use Key1 for the salesman's name. We just
change it if the lead is older than 45 days and no sale has been made.
However, I don't think that will work when we SYNC.

Larry,

You can update the Key1 (and other fields) when no activity occurs
automatically from an AP. GoldMine will sync these changes just like the
rest of the information.

Yes but...
I use Key1 (Salesman's name) as the filter for the SYNC for each salesman.
So when their name is changed the host SYNC will not send updated info to
the remote, hence the remote user will never know that the lead has been
transferred to another user.

1. I have been to told that only the "Territory Realignment" will cure this
filter problem. Is this correct?

2. Can I run a Territory Realignment from AP?

Thanks,
Larry
