I am Loredana Cîrstea and I am writing in regard to the oral examination for the graduation exam (Monday, 22nd of September 2014, 10:15 AM), for the Informatics and Medical Biostatistics discipline, as I was informed by the head of my series.
The presentation of my graduation thesis will not be in .ppt format, because it is a software demo created for maintaining a controlled vocabulary of histologic terms. The presentation is a video for demonstrating the capabilities, which could not be shown through slides. Moreover, the .ppt format cannot be imposed, because it belongs to a proprietary software.
Due to the fact that the video has to have a big resolution for a good projection it is a file larger than 1GB. I am trying to reduce the size in order to not encounter problems when presenting, but I prefer to bring it on a USB stick on Monday morning (half an hour earlier). I will also bring my personal computer and a projector, to overcome any problems.

Sunt Loredana Cîrstea și vă scriu în legătură cu proba orala a examenului de licență (luni, 22 septembrie, 10:15), la disciplina Informatică și Biostatistică Medicală, după cum am fost informată de către șeful de serie.
Prezentarea lucrării mele de licență nu va fi în format .ppt pentru că este un demo de software creat pentru mentenanța unui vocabular controlat de termeni histologici. Prezentarea este un video cu demonstrarea capabilităților, ce nu ar putea fi arătate prin slide-uri. Mai mult, nu se poate impune ca o prezentare să fie neapărat în format .ppt, deoarece este un format al unei companii private ce necesită licență plătită.
Pentru ca video-ul să aibă rezoluție bună pentru proiectare, a fost nevoie de crearea unui fișier mare, de peste 1GB. Momentan incerc să reduc mărimea fișierului pentru a nu avea probleme în cadrul prezentării, dar preferam sa-l aduc pe un stick usb luni dimineata (cu jumătate de oră înainte). Voi aduce și computerul personal împreună cu un proiector, pentru a nu apărea probleme.
