Thank you to everyone who attended a No Kings over the October 18th weekend! In downtown Minneapolis,
we celebrated with 100,000 attendees at No Kings Twin Cities. But we were not alone—not by far!
To date, our volunteers have tallied more than 80,000 attendees at other No Kings events throughout Minnesota.
From Albert Lea to Zumbrota, people stood on streets, corners, and bridges with amazing signs and a growing community of attendees. (Check out our
full list of locations
and estimates.)
At No Kings in June, we counted 80,000 people at the MN State Capitol and 25,000 in other rallies around the state.
That means attendance has more that tripled in outside for marches/rallies outside the Twin Cities in the last four months.
Way
to show up, Minnesotans!

Voices from the Streets: Growing Support
|
|
|
Here are some remarks and photos from folks in the streets:
Dawn Kalina in Two Harbors: We were in Two Harbors for the weekend. My husband joined me. There were about 600 people with
us on Highway 61. The experience was joyful, peaceful, and amazing! So many people honked in support. I was only flipped off three times. This was my first protest. I am speaking out for women and marginalized people who feel they have no voice.
The rebellion is rising!
Caitlin Bosquez
in Waconia: Waconia with 288 people. I had previously attended Chaska protests.
Waconia was much more mixed in response than Chaska. Still majority positive, but not nearly as overwhelmingly positive as Chaska.
Mary Sayler in Willmar:
Attending the No Kings Rally and March in Willmar was a joyful time with my family and neighbors. I truly appreciate that
the Willmar community cares about our country
and what is happening and even more so care about protecting their fellow immigrant neighbors. It was a great day of inspiration and good trouble!

No Kings is Just a Start: We continue to show up!
|
|
Show up in your neighborhood!
Despite the dips in temperature, we see that more protestors are showing up, and more people are honking their support. Depending on the day, there are up to a dozen events happening
weekly across the street. Check out the WMM
Calendar for events near you.
