Hi all-

At the PublicMediaCamp I started a simple Drupal module (
http://drupal.org/project/media_npr ) to integrate the NPR audio API
with Embedded Media Field ( http://drupal.org/project/emfield ).

At the moment it allows you to post an NPR clip via it's url or embed
code to a Drupal site, and gives you the option of using the default
player or one of the other formats the NPR API provides. Although I
haven't tested it out, it definitely should work with the FeedAPI
( http://drupal.org/project/feedapi ) module to allow site admins to
automatically pull individual items from an NPR feed as they are
posted (for a simple example of this type of functionality, albeit
using videos, see: http://www.zivtech.com/videos/drupal-video-planet
).

I'm sending this message because I'm wondering if any of you are
Drupal users that could make use of integration with the NPR API, and
if so, what features/capabilities would you like to see added to the
module? I can't promise I'll be able to handle every request, but it
would be great to know a little more about how the module could be
improved to cater to the needs of public media institutions/groups.

If you prefer, feel free to e-mail me directly or (if you're a
Drupal.org user) you can add a feature request to the module's issue
queue.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
