Hi Public Health Journal Club members and UBC-UAEMers,

I hope you've all had an amazing Reading Break and are feeling refreshed, revived and excited to go back to school!

As you might know already, February is Intellectual Property Month at the Public Health Journal Club (for those who haven't been before, we meet 7-8pm on Mondays in the Irving K. Barber learning Centre, Rm. 264).

So, for next Monday, please read p. 14-35 of the attached report, which was written by the WHO Commission on Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation and Public Health.  I think you will find the material very interesting - it gives a nice overview of intellectual property rights, patents, and other important issues as they relate to public health.

Hope to see you there!

Hi all!

Just a small clarification: p. 14-35 refers to the pages in the PDF, which are p. 1-22 of the report.  So sorry for the confusion.

Sonja
