(PHJC) Two great global health opportunities

Hi all, 

Two quick messages for you this morning:

1.  We are looking for a presenter for Journal Club on Monday.  If you haven't presented yet and would like to try leading the discussion or if you would like to give it another shot, please let me know by Thursday (tomorrow).

2.  Friends of MSF is holding a Global Health Essay and Case Competition called Think.Speak.Inspire.  For the essay competition, there are three categories for your to showcase your interest, knowledge and creativity.  The winners of this competition will be invited to present at a Symposium on Tuesday March 22, 2011.  The case competition will provide a venue for UBC Students from a variety of disciplines to engage and collaborate in developing innovative recommendations to global health issues as members of a multidisciplinary team.

There will be cash prizes for the winners of both competitions and the winning submissions will be published on a number of websites and blogs.  For more information on this event, check out our website:  http://friendsofmsf.wordpress.com/thinkspeakinspire/.

The deadline for the Essay competition is March 1st, and the deadline to enter the case competition is March 8th.
