Hey all,

I hope you had a wonderful summer and are getting settled into a new
school year at UBC. We are really excited to announce that the Public
Health Journal Club is starting up again next week, and we will be
continuing the great discussions from this past year. Ben and
Annelies will be heading up the PHJC this year, and are eager to have
anyone else interested in helping out jump on board.

We thought that a good way to start up the term would be to meet
together as existing members to share some of the public health news
we have heard about this past summer, and to plan how we would like
the journal club to look this year. We would like to set up a casual
meeting for next week to reconnect with as many of you as possible.

We are also planning to have a kick off meeting in the week of
September 26th-30th to attract new members and students from other
campus clubs and a variety of faculties. If anyone would like to
assist in planning this please let Ben (benjamin...@gmail.com) or
Annelies (anneli...@gmail.com) know.

Looking forward to seeing you all this coming week! If you are
interested in getting involved before next week there is an AIDS walk
this Sunday that Ben will be attending and would love some company
