The Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University is pleased to announce its spring, student-led conference, "Affirming Equity: Strengthening Health Care Finance and Delivery".  This conference will bring together students, researchers, health professionals, and health care providers in a conversation about strengthening the equitable financing and delivery of public health care.

Registration fees: Students $20, Non-students $30

This is a unique opportunity to meet with a diverse group of individuals to promote equity in public health care financing and delivery. Dr. Bob Evans from UBC's Centre for Health Services and Policy Research and Dr. Andrew Coates with Physicians for a National Health Program (USA) will be our keynote speakers. Participants will have the chance to discuss the role of government and health authorities in the promotion of equitable health care financing and delivery, the use of health care financing and delivery in achieving gender equity and community care and the role of Canada in promoting global equity in health care financing and delivery.
