When I try to do a lookup here for finomena.com:

I get this response:

{
  "Status": 2,
  "TC": false,
  "RD": true,
  "RA": true,
  "AD": false,
  "CD": false,
  "Question": [
    {
      "name": "finomena.com.",
      "type": 1
    }
  ],
  "Comment": "Nameservers did not respond [208.109.255.31, 216.69.185.31]."
}

When I try to do nslookup with one of the nameservers, I get proper response:

➜  ~ nslookup staging.finomena.com 216.69.185.31
Server: 216.69.185.31
Address:       216.69.185.31#53

Address: 52.74.104.128

These Domain Names are mapped in GoDaddy.
Is this some temporary issue that needs to be fixed??

This is hurting us a lot - this happened all of a sudden around an hour back.

Regards,
Rama.

The GoDaddy authoritative DNS servers were not responding to queries from our resolvers in Singapore and Taiwan, but that problem has been resolved.

See https://groups.google.com/d/msg/public-dns-discuss/l4ToXqoO-Eo/lT-EGRbfBAAJ for suggestions on what you can do to prevent these sorts of problems in the future.

Got it. I see that it works now.
Thanks!
