Hi,

Currently we are planning to host google cache node.

I have a question. Can GGC servers help to reduce latency to google.com and DNS server 8.8.8.8.

Regards,

Unfortunately, Google Global Cache (GGC) servers are running outside the Google network (AS 15169) so it is not technically feasible for them to advertise the 8.8.8.8 and other Public DNS anycast addresses. So they cannot provide locally cached low-latency responses for DNS queries to Google Public DNS.

They do provided cached answers for HTTP(S) queries for google.com.

In the future, it may be possible to enable GGC caching for the DNS-over-HTTPS service to provide lower latency DNS query resolution, but this is currently not possible.
