Google public dns 8.8.8.8 can't resolve any domain on my server

Hi,

Today i have a problem that public dns google 8.8.8.8 can't resolve any domains on my server :

server4040:~#  host google.com 8.8.8.8

;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

Can anyone help us to find this problem and fix the issue ?
