Used the Google flush tool, which worked and 8.8.4.4 then got the correct address.
Rand Dig again, and saw the 8.8.8.8 had the incorrect address.

Ran flush tool again - 8.8.8.8 then got the correct address and 8.8.4.4 then got the wrong address.

Somewhere Google's DNS servers are getting a list of wrong addresses for the domain.

The domain is mail.r3composites.com
A four address list gets registered:

The correct address is:

Registered at Namecheap, and DNS records there are correct.
The incorrect addresses are not in any way associated with the domain.

Looking for direction as to how this is happening and how to correct it.

These addresses belong to Namecheap (https://ipinfo.io/198.54.117.197) so are probably from some default mail hosting setup.

It's possible that one of the Namecheap name servers has stale data about your domain. Given the 1799 TTL, this was freshly received from an authoritative name server. You can try to flush your main domain (r3composites.com) which will also flush the cached delegation data (in case the Namecheap name servers changed recently). If you continue to get the stale records, check https://dns.google/query?name=mail.r3composites.com to see which name server(s) return stale data (look at the Comment field, like the following):

  "Answer": [
    {
      "name": "mail.r3composites.com.",
      "type": 1,
      "TTL": 1199,
      "data": "209.143.61.218"
    }
  ],
  "Comment": "Response from 2610:a1:1025::200."

If you see incorrect data associated with an IP address, contact Namecheap as they have to resolve your problem.
