Will this support .edu hosting? If so, what is the link

I dont think you've understood the service. Google simply offer an
open DNS resolver. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System .
This is not a root name server, and as such doesnt register new
entries. Google's DNS will simply look up and cache DNS lookups from
servers further upstream, such as root name servers.

This has nothing to do with domain hosting :) This is just a DNS
resolver, any web addresses that you type into your address bar will
be resolved against google's servers, instead of your ISPs. This
includes also edu domains (amongst all others).

They're not registering your website like .co.cc They're just giving
out public DNS addresses .

As far as I can see, Google DNS is simply an offer to supply DNS
resolution (how your computer matches domain names to IP addresses
when it wants to retrieve a web page, send an email, etc.), not DNS
hosting (providing answers about a specific domain to DNS resolvers
all over the world).

Google DNS is not a hosting service, just an offer to use their DNS
resolvers.

See http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/intro.html for more
info.

Yep, everyone here is right!  We're just an open resolver.  No Authoritative stuff.

Thanks!
