Hi everyone,

I'm a total novice and have zero developing experience. I've just transferred my domain to google last night and then connect it to shopify over from squarespace. The site is live but any IP address that had previously visited the domain receives an error such as:

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

This means all my current customers cannot access the new site. I've tried a UK VPN from the same devices used to the test the error and the website is viewable. Google asked me to clear cache on all browsers etc but this is not resolving the issue.

Is this a case of waiting for propagation to finish or am I missing something. I would really appreciate some help.

Thank you
Grace

First, if you're requesting support relating to your domain, you should name which domain it is.
Second: "Google Domains" and "Google Public DNS" are two separate products.  This list is about the latter but your issue seems to be the former.

That said: I've checked quickly into this error message and if this is a "works for some, not for others" problem as you seem to have described, I think rebooting (any computer having a problem) is the safest and easiest fix.  Without more detail (what domain?) it's hard to give more specific help.  Reach out to https://support.google.com/domains/ if you have indeed used Google Domains to register your name for further support.
