Hi all,

 

For those who were at the last meeting on cyber warfare and others interested.

(You may have heard this already but)  While we were wondering if/when it might be possible to get the gov't to do something about the issue, the Washington Post recently reported there was a cybersecurity bill - " to prevent large-scale cyber attacks on the national's critical infrastucture, including water supplies and the electircal grid"  which failed in the Senate, "despite strong endorsements from top military and national security officials".

Nice how timely our book discussion was!

Well, we meet again on March 25.  Unhappily for our Jewish members, that is also the 1st night

of Passover, so Fern and I will not be with you as you discuss "Shadow World" by Andrew Feinstein.

about the international arms trade.  The book for April is "Righteous Mind," by Jonathan Haidt

and the one for May is "Subliminal" by Leonard Modinow. If I've mixed up the books, please let the

1. can someone plz confirm what day we're meeting in April to discuss Righteous mind?

The 4th Monday is the 22nd of April, but the bookstore website has the discussion posted for Monday the 29th (the 5th Monday).

2. Also never saw a response to the email below for which book is May and which is June.
