Post strucutralism is an idea which is believed to have originated after the failure of Classical structural model being propounded by thinkers like Gullick, Fayol and Tylor. It provided an alternative view to organizational management.

Neo classical school gave human face to the organization wherein due emphasis was given to informal organization, worker satisfaction, social dynamics, psychological behaviours etc. IT made sutdy of organization more objective and need based.

Social system school of behavioral science continued the neo classical way of organizational functioning which added concepts like decision making theory, zone of indifference, contribution satisfaction equilibrium etc to highlight the functions of executive in order to manage organization effectively. This was followed by participative management thinkers such as Peter Drucker, Mcgregor, Likert etc who argued for interactive influece system, supportive relationships, mutual trust between management and worker based upon receiprocal relationships and seamless communication.

Later on contingency theory provided an inter connected sub system approach while reducing entroy and attaining GESALT with the environment. All these ideas have enriched the content and epistemological meaning if Pub Ad.
