Make sure you (Glover Shivers and Thurman Jones via TIMS) check out the FIRST Choice web site listed below if you have not already.  I do not know what is happening this season, but the voucher points teams get at that site are the free and important items that we normally give to build our robot outside of the items that come in the kit of parts. Log in to TIMS and click on the FIRST Choice link. FRC Team 1195 voucher points will be automatically applied and you can select the parts that you need for the robot.  I also get the full bumper kit with includes the red and blue covers and pool noodles for the bumpers.

Kit of Parts Information Available Online: We would like to remind teams that the 2015 Kit of Parts (KoP) will be larger than it has been in past seasons. Please be sure to view the size and weight information available on the 2015 Kit of Parts page, http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/2015-kit-of-parts, to ensure that your team will have sufficient space to transport the KoP from your Kickoff Event.

 

Surrogate Kit Pickup Deadline Approaching: If a team is unable to pick up its Kit of Parts (KoP) at the Local Kickoff they have selected, an alternate, or “Surrogate” team may be designated to do so. For more information on the Surrogate Kit Pickup process, please visit: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/kickoff#Surrogate.

 

All Surrogate Kit Pickup letters must be received at FIRST HQ no later than 5:00 pm ET on 12/29/13.  

 

New Items to be Added to FIRST Choice: Teams will have a second opportunity to complete a Priority List for the FIRST Choice Portal starting January 3, 2015 at 12:00 pm ET. Sorry, I meant Gloria Shivers. FIRST Choice is allowing a second chance at the points in Jan according to the info below. But again, please log into TIMS to access that link to FIRST Choice after you try the link below.
