Microsoft Store Grand Opening - STEMAction Support

We are delighted to announce that STEMaction in support of FIRST has been named a community partner for Microsoft and will be recognized at a store opening celebration on Saturday at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.

We invite you, your teams, and families to join us in celebrating the grand opening of the store on November 22nd, 2014 as part of a group representing FIRST and STEMaction. We will be some of the first people to enter the store and STEMaction will receive a sponsorship check as a community partner.  If we can gather 50-100 people, STEMaction will receive an additional grant, so we would greatly appreciate your participation.

Our group will gather at 9:30am in the Food Court and the headcount for the grant occurs at 10am. The grand opening ceremony runs from 10:30-11:00 and we will all walk over together. If you like, you can also stay for Microsoft's Xbox One Event: the first 200 people in line will receive a complimentary ticket for a meet and greet with Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg at 2pm.  Learn more here.

If you are able to join us, please send Milka Piszczek (milkap...@gmail.com) an RSVP by Thursday, November 20th. RSVP is preferred but not required.

Payment for your first event is due on November 24th.  Please plan ahead and see here for payment terms.  If your team doesn't think payment will be possible by the deadline, please contact Anne Shade as soon as possible.
Remember to register for the Kickoff at Capitol Technology University and select your kit of parts delivery method by November 24th through TIMS.  No more than 10 team members per team will be allowed at the local Kickoff.
