Greetings Teams:

Robot Stop Build Day is today, Tuesday, February 17th! You may work on your robot until midnight local time, but your robot must be bagged and tagged when the clock strikes midnight! For detailed information, please review Section 5 of the FRC Administrative Manual, which is available here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/competition-manual-and-related-documents.

Is your team ready? Have you:

If your team is physically unable to get to your robot today due to inclement weather, we ask that you bag and tag your robot immediately when you next get access. Please make a note on your Robot Lock-up form stating that you were unable to get to your robot to bag it on Stop Build Day. There must be no additional work done on your robot after midnight local time tonight, whether you were able to get to your robot beforehand or not. For teams in this situation who follow these rules, there will be no penalties assigned. You do not need special permission from FRC to do this, as Inspectors have been notified to expect to see this in some circumstances.

Chairman’s and Dean’s List Award submissions are due this Thursday, February 19th at 12 pm (noon) EST. Chairman’s Award entries must be submitted in the Youth Team Member Registration (STIMS), while Dean’s List entries must be submitted in the Team Information Management System (TIMS).

Detailed information regarding the awards is available in section 6 of the FRC Administrative Manual: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/competition-manual-and-related-documents.

FRC Championship Volunteer Recruitment for 2015: FRC is in need of approximately 400 more volunteers this year as compared to last year! Due to the team increase, we have many support positions that do not require prior volunteer experience, such as Field Set-up and break-down, Field Assembly and Disassembly, Judge Room Assistants, Practice Field Attendants, Radio Room Monitors, Safety Glasses Attendants, Volunteer Café Attendants and many more! If you are able to volunteer, even for a half day, please register in the FIRST Volunteer Information and Matching System (VIMS). Select “FRC” under Programs and select “Missouri” under State/Province: https://my.usfirst.org/FIRSTPortal/Login/VIMS_Login.aspx

Thank you in advance for volunteering! We need you this year more than ever!

Go Teams!
