FIRST HQ Closed January 1, 2015: FIRST Headquarters will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2015 in recognition of the New Year’s Day holiday. Our regular business hours will resume on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 8:30 am EST.
Encrypted 2015 Game Manual now Available: The 2015 FRC Game Manual will be released Saturday January 3, 2015. The encrypted Game Manual is now available for download here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/competition-manual-and-related-documents.
A 2015 Decryption Test is available here: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/2015decryptiontest for teams who would like to ensure that they have the capability to decrypt the Game Manual files before the release.
Live Broadcast from the Founder’s Reception: Friday, January 2, 2015, starting at 7:00 PM EST the FIRST community can tune into a live broadcast from the Founder’s Reception. Hear from veteran and rookie mentors about their expectations for the upcoming season and FIRST sponsors about why it’s important for them to be involved. We’ll also have a special “last night before Kickoff” interview with FRC Director Frank Merrick, where he’ll release some new details about the 2015 FRC Season! Don’t miss it. FIRST Championship Housing and Registration Website Opening on Monday, January 5th: FIRST has partnered with Experient, an industry leader in the housing and registration market, and is excited to provide a new, easy-to-use website for Championship housing and registration.
New for 2015!!!
FIRST is requiring that all FIRST Championship attendees register for the event. This includes all team Mentors/Coaches and student team members. Registration grants attendees access to participant-only activities and event transportation. Additionally, registration adds to the security of the expanded event. Team Mentors/Coaches and students will receive their badges during team check-in.
