DES, DIS, & DHS families,
This is Jeri Cramer your current PTS treasurer. I
have been the treasurer for the last 2 years and it is time to find someone else to take care of the PTS check book.
The treasurer is responsible for all three school sites and the operating fund. All the accounting is done on quick books, so you just have to enter the information. DES has the most events, you just have to get the cash/ cash boxes to the event and write checks as requests come in. DES and DIS have budgets which you have to kept up dated, they are on spreed sheets so again just inputting the data. DES meets once a month, DIS meets once a month till November than goes every other or as needed. The high school meets as needed. You don't have to go to every meeting but do have to have a treasurer report done on quick books and budgets to hand out at meetings. I found that going to the meetings was helpful so you are informed of the upcoming events. The year goes from July 1 to June 30.
