Just a reminder...
Tomorrow, May 21st @ 6:00pm in the HS Library, will be our last DHS/PTS meeting for this school year.
We will be discussing future fund raisers, next year's goals and electing officers.
Please plan to attend and participate. Without your help, none of this would be possible!

Looking for a way to be "
IN THE KNOW" as your 8th grader transitions into High School?
Looking for a way to have "One on One" contact with the High School Principal?
Looking for a way to make a significant contribution to your childs education?
Becoming an officer might be just the thing for you...we currently have openings in the following categories: President (Presides over the meetings, makes the agendas and communicates with the e-mail secretary and Principal)
Vice President (Assists the President, follows up on items on the agenda)Treasurer (As a reminder; the treasurer must serve for all 3 sites the way our organization is currently set up)
Secretary (Takes notes at meetings, types them up and sends them to the e-mail secretary for distribution)Parent Representative (Meets with the PTS Board once a month)
DHS/PTS meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the High School Library at 6pm. Meetings usually last about an hour. Examples of things decided on are fundraisers, things to spend the money on such as field trips, projectors for each classroom, Mock Trial, a new gate for the Welding/Auto shop, a new camera and printer for the yearbook class, an ad for the yearbook, student planners, etc.
Volunteers are needed! Pleade send your nominations to Kristin Smith, current PTS President at, krist...@hotmail.com so they can be added to the May agenda. Voting will take place at the next meeting on May 21st. This is our last meeting of the year.
Without new members we may not be able to keep up the level of support our staff and students depend on.
