Hello all,

As discussed at tonight's meeting, I'm currently planning an upgrade
of knod, the main Personal Telco web server, to the latest version of
Debian GNU/Linux. Following a full system backup of the machine being
performed by Russell Senior, this upgrade should be completed early
next week.

Anyone who is running their own processes on this machine should
prepare accordingly by moving mission-critical services elsewhere for
the duration of the upgrade or taking whatever other actions may be
pertinent for your applications. Although the ABI has not changed
between wheezy and stretch, the system will be rebooted at least once
during the procedure. User files in /home and /usr/local will not be
altered.

Please contact me if you would like to coordinate about any specifics
during this process or if you have information about
non-standard/unpackaged services on this system that may be relevant.

Thanks!

- Keegan

Hello again world,

Immediately after I sent this message originally, Russell asked me to
hold off on the upgrade.

Russell, are we good to go now? Do you need to refresh your backup
again? Is there a particular time or date you'd prefer this be done?

Others, please review the original message below.

Thanks,

- Keegan
