I am not sure I have shared this here, but EVERYONE should look up their address on the new FCC maps and challenge any provider who doesn't actually offer service to your address. I challenged two fixed wireless providers and Wave cable which claim to serve my house.

The NTIA is going to be using the maps (horribly inaccurate as they are) as the basis for allocating BEAD funds, the $44 billion infrastructure funds, to states. Of course, almost no one even knows about them. I am the only person in about a square mile that is aware of them and challenged clearly bogus claims. Garbage In, Garbage Out. Situation Normal, etc.
