Dear Exco,

As you are aware, we have not had a meeting for this month of July as yet as we face an unprecedented issue of finding a new home. Please see below for the update of what has been attempted thus far.

Also the Division is conducting its first COT this Saturday on the 20th July at Whompoa CC from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. I am able to make the meeting, and would like to see the new Exco attend as well, as it gives us a very good direction for the club and your appointments as well.
Please update me on your attendance so I can update our Area Governor as well.

An update on the Club venue issues:
Punggol CC is unable to support us for an undefined time.
The room 01-06 is still being used by their N95 mask distribution and holding area.
They are clearly unwilling to support us in this hour of need.

I have tried to engage PA HQ Interest groups to get an interim place while they are still searching for a permanent home for us but even their hands are tied at this moment.

I have asked a few of our sister clubs to consider a joint meeting but it is difficult for them to plan one in the short term period which is the current situation we are facing.

Anyone knows of a function room/meeting room we can hire, please let me know.

Patricia's idea of holding a meeting at the Serangoon Garden's restaurant where we had our previous year's Xmas party is the only venue option that is open for now. Im suggesting next week Fri evening 26th July to give us ample time to prep for the meeting.

Regards,
Thiru

Hi Thiru - unfortunately I am unable to attend the meeting on the 26th Jul.

Why not try any schools that are willing to host the club. Since the club meetings are in the evenings it should be relatively free. The sales for the school is that it will help the students and the parents as well.

Regards
Ram

Dear Ram,

Long time no see!

And that is a great idea, but not a long term one.

Perhaps, can appoach Montfort Junior. I used to conduct the Gavel for them.
However, the teacher in charge left and the club die a natural death.

Regards
Patricia
