I went to the Toastmasters International website and managed to find some cool marketing material.

Attached is a draft A4 size template which I used from its website.

Please take a look at it and give comments if necessary. The pdf file can be edited too.

I realised I'm having my ICT from 18th to 30th August. Thus, might be unable to come for the demo meeting on 23rd August. But we see how first.

Hi everyone,

This is the latest reply from Punggol Vista.

We will need to come up with Publicity material to put up with the CC to highlight Toastmasters and the demonstration meeting we are going to have on the 23rd August.

It has to be a good show for the CC and for us too.

Anyone has any material from division/district side?

Or does any one have skill to create a quick and informational flyer we can send to Punggol Vista on toastmasters?

Great to hear from you again. Yes the CCMC is still keen for a demonstration meeting on 23 Aug to bring awareness and recruit residents. Tentative timing for the demo will be 1pm at our CC Conference Room. We can discuss further after the demo, depending on the level of interest from the residents.

 

You may want to send me some of your publicity materials for my committee’s approval to put up at various notice boards.

 I would like to also reply you about the queries that was brought out when we last met at the CC Meeting.

 

Background check on Toastmasters Clubs within Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC

 

We did a background check on our end and we found there are only 2 Toastmasters Clubs that are run with CCs in Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC. They are:

 

1. Pasirrisians Toastmasters Club - situated at Pasir Ris East CC

2. Pasir Ris Elias Toastmasters Clubs - situated at Pasir Ris Elias CC.

 

We also enquired on how they are managed and how the finances were managed in both clubs and we found out that

 

1. Pasirrisians Toastmasters Club - an interest group directly under the CCMC and they manage their own finances and account

2. Pasir Ris Elias Toastmasters Club - an interest group directly under the CCMC and all monies collected goes directly to the CC, with the club claiming for any expenses made

 

All other CCs we enquired within the GRC do not yet have a Toastmasters Interest Group.

 

Interest in Punggol/Sengkang for a Toastmasters Club

 

We have a pool of 20 toastmasters who are keen to set up a Toastmasters Club at Punggol Vista CC and half of them are residents in the GRC. We believe with marketing and publicity we should be able to create a keen interest with more residents who would want to join the interest group.

Everyone, please bring your old TI magazine to give out.

We can also do up a photos chart of our club activities.

Bring your trophics for display.
