I have loaded 6 images  and tried to align them. A dialog then came up asking me to confirm the focal length to be 1500 mm.
PTGui then hung with the following error box
The only way out was to close the program

Any idea what I am dong wrong?

Hi Velson,

Looks like a bug. Does it happen consistently, and only with those
images? If so, would you be able to share them with me at support at
ptgui.com?

Kind regards,

I tried to reproduce this using your images, but wasn't able to trigger
the error.

This particular error may have been caused by PTGui running out of disk
space in the temporary folder, could that be the case?

When working with these large source images, it may help if you disable
'Find Optimum Seams' (in Panorama Editor - Blending) before loading the
first image. Calculating the seams for large source images takes
considerable memory and temporary disk space.

After you have aligned the images, enable Find Optimum Seams again.

Kind regards,

Joost
Thank you
This wasn't a particularly big example. I shall try the work around.
The temporary folders are 2 SDS drives, C and D, each of about 0.5 TB.

I tend not to restart the computer over days, in order to leave the various windows for this workflow open.  That certainly causes problems with Silverfast and PS which do not seem to clean out their working files completely when the task (but not the program) is closed.  Have you seen anything similar with PTGui?

No, this should not be an issue with PTGui. After closing all projects,
a few small temporary files remain but those are necessary. The large
ones should get deleted.
