Hi all,
I have a system that I built in July using an Nvidia GeForce GTX970. It was super fast & worked great until the Windows 10 Anniversary update a couple of weeks ago.
Now PTGui says that my system doesn't support OpenCL and stitching has slowed to a crawl. Photoshop shoes the card & GPU acceleration options, but PTGUI does not.

I have rebooted, checked that the drivers are all updated, etc.

Any ideas? Is this a known bug?

Best,
Katherine

Hi Katherine,

Most likely the 64 bit OpenCL drivers are missing. I've heard reports
where only a 32 bit OpenCL driver got installed under Windows 10. I
don't know why this happens but you should be able to fix this by
installing the latest (64 bit) driver from here:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Kind regards,

Thank you Joost.

Windows showed that drivers were current from 8/1/16, but after downloading from nvidia, they are from 10/1/16 and my GPU support is back in Ptgui!
